My name is Piglet and I'm a little pink pig. Well, really, I'm a cat. A Sphynx. But I look like a little pink pig.
My older brother, Grover, is a Devon Rex. He writes here, too, but don't believe anything he says.
We live in a tree house in New York City with our mom and we thank you for visiting!

Can't See Me!
Hi:
It's Piggy. Listen, shhhhhhhh....be very quiet. I have crawled into the bag of recyclables and no one can see me. I bet you even had trouble finding me in the picture, didn't you? I know! It's a great hiding spot!
I'm trying to avoid being found because at 8pm tonight my mom took my food bowl away and, if I remember correctly, the last time she did this was because I had to go to the vet the next day to have a test, so, I'm pretty sure that is what is happening tomorrow, and I'd really prefer avoiding THAT.
Another clue is that I heard her on the telephone discussing me and I heard her say things like "bone marrow aspiration", "endoscopy" and "lymphnode biopsy"; none of which sound like "Snacks!", "Q-Tips!" and "Bag Ties!" to me.
So, um, yeah; I'm staying right here, stealth-like in this bag.
The end.
Luv,
Pig
P.S. Hi, it's Grover. Listen, I can see Piggy in that bag and unless you're a bit dim, you can, too. That being said, Pig's right....he is going to the vet tomorrow morning at 8 o'clock for more tests as he is still losing weight and his blood tests get more and more wonky every few weeks and the vets fear he is very sick, even though he acts very normal, like the big potato-and-mushroom-smelling bully that he is. We're all very anxious about this. As a matter of fact, I'm so anxious I am not even going to tell my mom where Piggy is hiding. She won't find him. Lately, she's so pre-occupied with thinking we're going to lose our little pink Pig, that calling her "a bit dim" is an understatement. Your secret is safe with me, Piggy. Your secret is safe with me. Luv, Grover
P.P.S. Thanks and hugs to Teri for reviewing Piggy's test results and offering much love, information and support!

oh Piggy, we are purrring very hard that your tests come back ok. we are sending lots of purrss to you to Grover and especially to you MsPiggysMom. oh and {{HUGS}} from our mom
Gee, Pig...Teri's not even your mommy and you made her laugh...and worry, too.
And your hidey spot...while might not be too secret, looks warm and cozy and a little naughty, too1
I am glad your mom and Teri became bloggy friends and she's glad she could help in some little way by having her vets look at your test results and sending your mom lotsa links on IBD, pancreatitis and tummy stuff!
May your lumps go down soon and that you bounce back from your endoscopy (or colonoscopy if it's well, from the other end...) real fast and get to eat something tasty soon (try strained meat baby food maybe--we love that as a treat!)
Piggy, WE're sending purrs and barks for you to come out of hiding and go to the vet's for those important tests tomorrow. And we hope you're okay.
PS So does your brother. He just doesn't want you to know it.
We're hoping and purring the news is good about Piggy's test results. Take care...

Piggy we are purring for you! Probably a good idea to let yourself being found and go to the VET - then he might find out what's wrong with you and THEN he can help you!!!
Lots of purrs for you!!!
PUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
We are thinking of you Piggy and our mom's heart is a little heavier tonight after hearing about the wonky test results. We hope tomorrow goes as well as it possibly can.
We have heard that covering a flattened out cardboard box with foil and then placing that over the entire stove range works; that is, unless they like the sound of the foil when they jump up there; for most cats they don't like walking over foil b/c of the noise and how it feels.
Good luck and we are anxious too with your Mom for the results.
Grover - you be nice.
How old is Piggy again?
I will be thinking of you tomorrow and sending healing vibes to you at the v.e.t.'s. Get well, Piggy!
Your friend,
'Kaika
Pigggy, I hope dat da bag worked and you don't end up going to the vet, but I suspect she'll find you there. I hope da vet finds out why you're losing weight.

Oh, Piggy, I don't like the sound of those tests at all. You are smart to hide, 'cause I think some of them hurt. I am hoping and praying that you don't have anything really bad wrong with you, or you have something that can be cured.
You are hiding very well.
Hey Piggy! Lots of purrayers for you today, and hugs for tomorrow!! I really hope everything goes well for you!

Hi, Terri sent me. I hope Piggy is better soon. Have the vet check out his Kidneys, My cat was losing weight and the vet's could not figure it out. I had a visiting retired vet look again at my cat's blood work and he saw that a combo of several things were at work. I started feeding him special Kidney food called KD and he stopped losing weight. The vet said many vets miss this problem. Hope this helps.
