I've been gone a long time. I always say that, I know, but really, I'm a cat and I don't have much control over these things. I blame it all on my mom.
We moved! We've living in this big old place now and Grover and I love it. We can run end to end (it's a railroad apartment) and it's wicked fun to chase each other. Mom gets a bit pissed off if we keep it up, but we can't help it. It's great!
We also like the sunlight that comes in through the windows at both ends of the apartment.
Unfortunately, I've not seen any mice here, not even one. I did kill a spider though.
My name is Piglet and I'm a little pink pig. Well, really, I'm a cat. A Sphynx. But I look like a little pink pig.
My older brother, Grover, is a Devon Rex. He writes here, too, but don't believe anything he says.
We live in a tree house in New York City with our mom and we thank you for visiting!

Wow! I've been gone so long again! I blame my mom this time - she took a long trip and her beautiful friend stayed with us but she never turned the computer on and I didn't know how to do it myself. She was so nice to me and Grover though.
We loved her so much that while she was here we brought her lots of presents. For some reason (I think it has to do with all the banging down below us, something called construction) Grover and me found a LOT of mice in the past few weeks. It was so much fun!!!! Every time we saw one, we'd play with it and then we'd bring it to our babysitter. Sometimes in bed. Sometimes when she was eating. We just wanted her to know how much we loved her and appreciated here staying her while mom was gone.
Unfortunately, I don't think she got the message, because after a few days of us bringing her presents, she cried and cried and her sister came here and after they threw away all the food on the wicker shelf, she ended up leaving!
We felt bad. We couldn't understand why she wouldn't want our presents! And, we missed having her here during the night. But we adjusted.
Anyway, she showed up twice a day after that and took really good care of us. I was a bit pissed off though when she gave me a bath! I couldn't believe it! After I'd been so nice to her and all she actually made me take bath! And then, to add insult to injury, she cleaned my ears.
Grover, as usual, didn't have to deal with any of that. I swear, just because I don't have fur people think they can take advantage of me. Harrumph.
So, it all turned out OK and really, it was quite an adventure for everyone.
The mice are all gone now, but I wish we'd see a few because mom is home and we're so happy to have her back that we wanted to give her some presents, too. Maybe today will be our lucky day!

I haven't written in a long time and I have no excuse. I just didn't feel like it.
It's been very hot. Mostly I sit and watch the birds outside. Grover does that, too.
There was this show on TV about an island you can visit with little huts built on stilts above the water. Part of the floor was glass and you could see fish swimming beneath you. I want to go there. Grover does, too. We think it would be quite delicious.

Today is my birthday! I am one year old!
Grover was five years old on June 7th but who cares.
I heard mom talking about all sorts of cool toys for me. I think she is going to give them to me later.
I'm really so excited. I think I'll sleep most of the day so I have lots of energy to play with myfun stuff later. Then again, I sleep most of the day every day anyway.
I hope she gets me a live mouse. YAY!
Grover is very loud today and he keeps calling me so I'm going to see what he wants.

We had a good weekend. Mostly we sat on cushions on the window sill and watched the pigeons and took naps and ate. We also chased each other around a lot and tried to scratch a hole in the floor. I just know I heard another mouse under there.
My birthday is tomorrow. I will be one year old. Grover's birthday was June 7th and he was five years old. How can I be bigger than him if he's older than me?

OK, Grover let me sleep near him. Not NEXT to him, but near him. I really think he likes me better since we played with the mouse.
Yesterday I got a bath. I don't mind baths too much (I like to play with the yellow duck) but I do mind getting my ears cleaned. I hate it. Afterwards I scratch and scratch my ears.
I hate nail-clipping more than ear-cleaning.
Mostly I hate getting my butt wiped with baby wipes every time I go poo. I don't know why I always have a poopy butt, but I wish they'd just leave me alone about it. It's embarrassing!

Wow! Grover and I had the BEST time last night!
We found a mouse in the kitchen! I had never seen one before. It was so much fun.
We played hockey with it. Then we played catch with it. Then we played "stomp on the mouse" with it!
Then we heard screams (mom) and yells (Ali) and we couldn't understand what the fuss was about.
We didn't want to leave the mouse because we weren't done playing with it. But, since it had stopped moving (and since Ali squirted us about fifty times with Mr. Black while saying "GET AWAY FROM THE MOUSE, BOYS!") we ran into the bedroom to tell mommy how much fun we just had.
When Ali came into the bedroom, we ran back into the kitchen to get the mouse to bring it to mom for a present. But it was gone. We were so sad. I know mommy would have loved us bringing her a present.
I hope we find another one for her.

This weekend I was mean to my mom. I paid no attention to her at all. I wouldn't even sleep with her like I usually do.
I tried to spend as much time as possible snuggling anything but my mom.
Every time she tried to pick me up or talk to me I'd turn my head and pretend she wasn't there. It was funny!
Last night though, mom got really upset that I wouldn't sleep with her and wouldn't play with her. She said, "Piggers hates me!" and she looked sad.
After that, it wasn't so much fun any more.
So, I climbed under the covers and snuggled against her belly like usual and that was the end of that.

Something very exciting has happened! Daymented loves me and Grover so much that she made a whole page just for us! WOW!
I hope we get to meet her someday. Mommy thinks she's fab (and cute!) and I'd give her extra special licks all over her face.
I got so excited when I saw all those pictures of how adorable I am (oh yeah, Grover is pretty cute, too) that I wore myself out running around. Now I'm going to climb on the window sill and see if the dancing guy is there. Then I'm going to go to sleep.
Mommy forgot to give us our meat this morning. I don't know if this ever happened before. I know there is a whole bowl of dry food in the kitchen, but I want my raw meat!
She better remember tonight or I'll be mad. Grover said she wouldn't forget. Oh well.
OK, nap time! It's hard to be a star.

So, this is what Piglet's been doing in here so much! He is such a brat!
This is Grover. I am a really good cat no matter what Piglet tries to tell you. You can ask my mom.
Everything was perfect in my life until Piglet came along. Sure, I was lonely after Cheshire Cat died, but I adjusted. I had my mom all to myself for almost a year after that. It was great!
Then, she went away all day and came home with this little thing I thought was a rat. He smells, too. Like mushrooms. I could not believe it. I was so pissed off. So disappointed. He's barely a cat. Barely. He doesn't even have fur!
And she loves him and she's not faking it. I can tell. Geez. It's so completely insulting.
OK, Piglet is coming so I'm signing off. But I'll be back!
Love,
Grover

I want to tell you about this person who lives across the alley way. He is pink, just like me. He has a pot belly just like me.
He likes to dance in front of his window. He doesn't see me watching him.
I told Grover about him, but Grover didn't want to watch.
I'm going to see if the dancing person is there again. He's funny.
